Well it’s finally here…. and it all starts at noon today with the Pirates arriving in town (rumour has it on a boat) and the Street Buskers will be out in force from 12 noon.
Remember to come down to the wharf at 4 pm on Saturday to see cardboard boat races and pirate activity, Kings Orange Rangers and Shelburne longboats (giving free rides all afternoon). Pirates Reunion takes place at 8 pm although be at the wharf from 4. Certificates will be handed out to all those who seem to be wearing some sort of pirate gear to declare “Pirate in good standing”… ARRR.
At 4 pm Saturday, rumour has it that there will be a firing squad at the end of the wharf. Time to come and watch our pirate actors as this unfolds- watch and listen for the Pirate ship with canons!
